As a Senior Associate, Sacha works with DG+CO’s clients to develop campaigns that make a difference. With a background in journalism, media relations, digital strategy, and research, Sacha has overseen communications for a range of nonprofit organizations. She has a strong record of building relationships and achieving organizational goals.
Previously, Sacha managed external affairs for the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, which included the opening of The DiMenna Center – New York City’s first rehearsal and recording venue dedicated to classical music. She also led communications at the oral history project StoryCorps, where she implemented highly successful publicity efforts for the organization’s weekly radio broadcasts, books, animated shorts, and mobile app.
Sacha has created cutting-edge social media outreach programs for a variety of social issues at the Ad Council and worked on staff at NPR and Harvard University’s Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy.
With a journalism degree from George Washington University, Sacha’s writing has appeared in The Huffington Post, the Columbia Journalism Review, People.com, UTNE Reader, and AdLibbing.org. She has produced research that was published by The World Economic Forum and The Brookings Institution. Currently, she is a critic for Bachtrack – the world’s largest classical event site.
As the granddaughter of circus acrobats, Sacha has an abiding love for the arts. She serves on the board of the Manhattan Choral Ensemble and frequents cultural events of all kinds.
