Embarking on a digital asset management (DAM) project involves juggling several moving parts and an often-endless realm of possibilities. At one time or another, every aspiring DAM project lead has struggled with the challenges of charting a solid course to the deployment a system, all while trying to maintain or build momentum on the project.
Questions of how to store and tag photos, videos, audio, and documents, and how to best train compound quickly to ensure you select the right tools and take the proper steps to catalyze change. Essential DAM functions as a framework for high-level discussions, decision-making, interdepartmental collaboration, and overall execution.
Attendees will be introduced to the framework through two models—one to position DAM within the organization itself and the second in the form of a phased tactical outline complete with assessments, actions, and deliverables.
