The Organization

MƒA brings together outstanding, experienced teachers so that they can share knowledge, advance teaching skills, and sustain rewarding careers in the classroom. This remarkable community of teachers is changing the very landscape of science and mathematics education.

The Work

DG+CO developed a new campaign to build brand awareness and recruit a new class of MƒA fellows. We conducted opinion research to inform the campaign, developed the overall strategy, and all the creative assets. We also advised on the best tactics to reach MƒA’s target audiences.

American Civil Liberties Union

The Organization

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is our nation's guardian of liberty, working daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.

The Work

To champion women’s right to choose, DG+CO created the multichannel “They Think We’re Stupid” campaign, including persuasive, topical messages.

Pennsylvania WIC Program

The Organization

The Pennsylvania WIC Program's aims to improve the health of eligible pregnant women, new mothers, and children by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy foods, and referrals to other programs.

The Work

DG+CO created a statewide marketing campaign – including a graphic identity, strategic messages, new marketing materials, radio and TV public service announcements (PSAs), and statewide billboards.

NYC Department of Education

The Organization

Mentoring Excellence, a unique initiative of the NYC Department of Education, provides all-star principals with stipends to mentor and cultivate aspiring principals from within their schools.

The Work

DG+CO’s multi-year engagement with the Department included the branding and launch of Mentoring Excellence. We developed an eye-catching logo, recruitment brochure, talking points, press materials, and correspondence with families and students. We used first person, compelling testimonials from successful participants of the pilot program.

Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley

The Organization

Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley provides critical health services to more than 40,000 people in Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties every year.

The Work

DG+CO developed an ad campaign for the organization, with targeted messaging to support key goals. We created comprehensive, attractive campaign materials (with billboards, newspapers ads and more) that we supplemented with message training for volunteers and implementation support. It was such a success that we used it as the basis for a breast health campaign later the same year!

Center for Medicare Advocacy

The Organization

The Center for Medicare Advocacy advances access to Medicare coverage and quality health care for older people and people with disabilities by providing exceptional legal analysis, education, and advocacy.

The Work

DG+CO has worked with the Center for many years, establishing their reputation as an expert media source on Medicare issues. Recently, we helped the organization illustrate the importance of an issue called Observation Status. This billing classification can have devastating consequences – making Medicare patients foot the bill for their entire hospital stay, prescriptions, and nursing home care after leaving the hospital. We produced an outreach plan and a series of infographics that explain what Observation Status, why it matters, and how to fight it.
